Hospice of Central Pennsylvania is our area’s only community-based, non-profit hospice. Our resources, including all gifts, go into caring for patients and their families. Your gift ensures that local patients and families coping with a life limiting illness or grieving the loss of a loved one receive all the care they need.

The Memorial Gift Program is a meaningful way for families and friends to honor or remember a colleague, friend or loved one.

The Tree of Light provides an opportunity to remember someone special with a light in their name. Trees are erected in Harrisburg and Carlisle each December. Learn more.

Our Walkway of Caring is a brick path located on the wooded grounds of the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence. Individual bricks are inscribed to honor a friend or loved one. Gifts to the Walkway of Caring help to support our Hospice Residence. Download the tribute brick order form.

Our Butterfly Release and Celebration of Life Ceremony is an opportunity to remember or honor someone special with a butterfly. Our live butterfly releases are held early summer. Participants are invited to release their butterflies as part of this event. Learn more.

Many employers Match charitable gifts made by their employees. Please ask your employer's Human Resources Department for their matching gift form and submit it with your gift.

Hospice of Central Pennsylvania is a United Way Program Partner. We receive support from the United Way of the Capital Region and United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County. We also participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and the State Employees Combined Appeal (SECA) where donors may choose to designate some or all of their contribution to our agency during the fall employer campaign.
